Intensive Outpatient Program.

Intensive effort and long-lasting results.

All in the comfort of your own home.

Lasting Life Change. Truly.

Intensive Outpatient Programs, often referred to as IOPs, are alternatives to residential and inpatient treatment. Individuals with substance use disorders, or those who have additional co-occurring mental health disorders, who qualify for IOP, are those who do not require medical detoxification or 24-hour supervision. IOPs can be a great option for individuals who don’t quite need the acuity of care provided with inpatient treatment, but require a higher level of care than what traditional outpatient therapy offers.

Immersive Effort. Long-Lasting Results.

Our IOP is designed to help the individual establish psychosocial support systems, facilitate relapse management, and develop coping strategies. IOPs provide a core set of services (usually a specified number of hours) provided on a weekly basis to those seeking this level of care:

  • Structured programming
  • Individual, group, and/or family therapy
  • Psychoeducation about substance use and mental health disorders

IOPs have become increasingly prevalent over the recent years, as it allows people to live at their own home, work, and be a part of their communities, all while getting a level of intensive treatment that wasn’t previously available unless you enrolled in an inpatient program. This combination of intensive treatment, while still being able to be in the comfort of your own home, is an incredible feature and one that often improves the individual’s adjustment to community life. This is a great initial option for many, and for others, can be a great option to “step-down” to after completing an inpatient program.
